Banana Republic has just released its Mad Men inspired collection, created in part with Mad Men’s costume designer Janie Bryant. Quite the sophisticated set of outfits, though I’m swooning over the Don Draper-esque Men’s wear as opposed to the Betty Draper-esque Women’s wear.
Alas, purchasing will not help advance the new season of Mad Men to debut before 2012, though maybe you can pass the time by reenacting your favorite scenes in period appropriate fashion. *grumble*
College Humor’s video of a hypothetical 16-bit Game of Thrones rpg is so good I want to play it right now. The video mixes the most memorable Game of Thrones drama in a masterfully accurate retro Final Fantasy guise, and the results are hilarious. I laughed many times (out loud!)
