DAYMAN (ah-AH-aaaah) FIGHTER OF THE NIGHTMAN.

Why everyone is making Dubstep remixes of everything is beyond me, but this song with the video remix is so so great. Charlie Day 4EVA.

Fantasy novelist Jim Hines holds his very own photo shoot in which he emulates the various sassy heroine poses often found on the covers of American fantasy books.

My sense is that most of these covers are supposed to convey strong, sexy heroines, but these are not poses that suggest strength. You can’t fight from these stances. I could barely even walk.

Thank you for pointing this out, Jim!

No idea where this is originally from, but pretty funny stuff for an Animal Crossing comic.
And as long as we’re here, let’s get one thing straight. Nook is a Tanuki, not a raccoon! Behold this kind of interesting wouldn’t-ya-know-it fact from the Animal Crossing Wikia page:

In traditional stories, the Tanuki was said to have had the ability to transform leaves into gold… This would also explain why furniture is depicted as a leaf while on the ground outside, or handing it to a villager or special character. It would also explain why Nook’s shop uses a leaf as a logo.

One could also surmise that Nook wears such a large apron to cover the Tanuki’s “disproportionately large testicles”, but that’s a little N.ot S.afe F.or A.nimal C.rossing.
Cool story, Nook.
