Biotic Games for Paramecium (and other organisms)
Stanford physicist Ingmar Riedel-Kruse has created a series of biotic games that are played by interacting with biological processes in paramecium and other organisms. Watch and learn! Love the little game graphics.

Hurt Feelings -20 EXP
It’s been a while since I checked illustrator Louis Roskosch’s site and it’s filled with fun new goodies. A talented artist with a sense of humor, Roskosch frequently slips references to games and nerdlore in his work.
See more of his stuff on his site, or even buy one of his prints over at the Kill Screen shop.

Meet the Medic (and Archimedes)
The Team Fortress 2 “Meet the Team” videos are always a treat, and “Meet the Medic” is no exception. The video reveals the suspect nature of the Medic’s healing methods while simultaneously announcing the game’s new Free to Play endeavor, which is pretty rad of Valve, by the way.

Make It Work
Hello friends! Here I go, blogging again after a six month hiatus. In the spirit of one Tim Gunn, I’m looking to “make it work”.

Classy Execution of Houndstooth Space Invaders
Monsieur Lacenaire’s Spring Summer collection of 2012 by Garance Broca is entitled “Sheep Invaders” and is just about the classiest execution of 8-bit flavor in fashion design I’ve seen yet. Though this houndstooth sweater seems to be the only one with a Space Invaders reference, I’ll take what I can get.
Spotted over on fashion blog Style Bubble.

Trailer for the upcoming adventure game “Kentucky Route Zero” by Cardboard Computer
I missed seeing this trailer during its proper debut five months ago, but thankfully good ole faithful Brandonnn made sure we saw it on his quick visit to San Francisco this past weekend.
Cardboard Computer, the independent game company most recently known for the IGF nominated “A House in...
